Another crappy thing about living alone is you have to take care of your own bugs. :( I just had a pretty big insect (picture above) crawl up my lamp ... I sat there for a good three minutes before taking a picture while complaining and screaming at a friend via IM. Then finally went in search of a little plastic container to trap it in so I can release it later. But first I had to stand there for another good five minutes panicking and sweating and shaking. After it took like five circles around the lamp it finally decided to head back down. And that's how I caught it and shut the lid and dropped it outside on the balcony and prayed it wouldn't land on me and just hope no other bug would fly in through the open window. And it sucked. AHHHHHH. I hate bugs I hate insects I hate these .... THINGS!!! They look so gross ... antenna's all moving around and tiny little legs and .... eeeeek. I still get all shakey when I think about it. >.< Sigh. Someone save me from this phobia.
You know those pictures of puppies who see a ball and the caption of the picture is "BALL BALL BALL BALL BALL BALL BALL!!!" (like the one I found up there?) Well, that's me with the sun. SUN SUN SUN SUN SUN SUNNNNNN ... oh my. :) The sun is out! And according to Weather.com, it's supposed to stay out for the rest of the week. SWEEEET.
There's this bush I have to pass whenever I go in the downtown direction and come back. It's filled with BEES. Ugh. I hate insects, but especially spiders, cockroaches, and bees. Back in Taiwan it wasn't much of a problem since there are rarely any bees in Taipei (not much to pollinate I guess). Although there were way too many BIG cockroaches, ew. Guess you can't have everything. Anyway, I have a fear of being stung even though I don't think I've ever been stung before (and hopefully it stays that way), and yah, just a general fear of bees. So every time I walk by the bush all these bees fly out and start buzzing. I should really give the bush a wider berth, but sometimes I just don't pay attention where I'm walking. Sigh. So whenever that happens, I wince and pray that the bees are too busy buzzing to do any harm to me. >.<
Oh! On my way home today I saw a Himalayan cat with no collar. And it looked kinda dirty!! So either it's a runaway or it's lost or it's owner doesn't practice proper hygiene for their kitty. I wanted to take it back home with me, but my mom forbade me. Sadness. IT'S SO CUTE. AHHHHHH.

Everyone has their phobias, right? Well, mine's insects in general, but especially cockroaches. And I just have to move into a city populated by them. At home we have cockroaches, at work on my desk there's the occasional cockroach, and out in the streets there are cockroaches. AHHHHH. Why why why do these insects (insects?) exist?! What good do they do for the environment? What is their role in this world?! Ahhhhhhhh.
We have a flying one at home right now that no one knows where it is. I just saw one crawling around my desk at work. I should kill it, but I don't dare. It's a phobia!!! >.< What to do what to do?! I just wait till it crawls off the desk or guide it towards an exit from the desk. There are tiny little baby cockroaches, which I can kill, but not the big ones. I've heard horror stories of colleagues who pick up their phone and see cockroaches crawling out of it. Omg, if that happened to me, I'd totally freak out. Sigh.
Ahhh, I need someone who can kill insects, especially cockroaches and spiders, for me. Otherwise my home might become overrun by them. >.< Why do I have this phobia? I have no idea. At least no conscious idea of why. Blech blech blech!!! Just thinking about them gives me goosebumps and makes me shiver. It's gotten worse as I've gotten older. Blah. Insects suck. Cockroaches suck. AHHHHHH.
No image for this entry since when I googled cockroach and saw the pictures I started feeling faint. >.< They're so disgusting!!!! Ahhhhhhhhh.
