I Tear Up Too Easily

Posted by Lisa in , ,

Wedding was last night. It was a nice wedding, with some awkward moments due to some gov't officials enjoying their alcohol a little too much, but overall it was sweet. And touching. I teared up when Grace was saying thanks to her parents for everything, and I saw her mom cry a bit. I was just like, AWWWWWWW. T~T but not really having tears come down because I had mascara on and did not want that to run. So! Self-control, YES!

As for the expected politicians/gov officials, the vp wasn't there, but the DPP Chairwoman showed up and also the minister of Economic Affairs. And I'm sure there were other ones, but I really don't know them by face. or name. Yaaaaaah.

Anyway, a picture is worth a thousand words, so picture time!

Reception was held at one of the World Trade buildings on the 33rd floor. The view outside was gorgeous, but I forgot to take a picture. There were like 20-some tables.

We (Grace's friends) got to sit at the second table! Right next to the main table! Right in front of the stage (kinda a little bit to the right, but good enough!). Closest I've ever been to the stage at a wedding :) Thanks Grace!

Wedding cake! Which, now that I think about it, we didn't get to eat. I guess it was just for the ceremonial cutting of the cake or something. Eh. Weird.

The happy couple - Grace and Ted

Parents of Grace, Grace, Ted, and Ted's mom - in laws!

So, there was this "event," I guess, where Grace had 12 friends go up to the stage. She was holding on to her bouquet along 12 red ropes. Only one of the 12 ropes was attached to the bouquet. So each of us had to grab a rope, and then Grace would let go, and the person holding on to the rope with the bouquet attached would get the bouquet - which mean, SHE'S NEXT! ... so, guess who got the bouquet?

MY SISTER!!!! hahahahahahahahahahahahahaha. That was so funny. For me. I don't think she was very happy about it knowing that everyone's going to keep reminding her/making fun of her. :P

Alan, our friend, on the other hand, seemed to really like the bouquet ... HUMMMM .....

Awwww. *tear* :) It was a lovely wedding. *sigh* Now I wonder who'll be the next of us D.C. kids to get married ... HEEHEE. :P

Booooo ...

Cousin Sophia's wedding picture - love the silliness :)

I'm hungry and want to eat food, but the stupid sister's not awake yet. Agh! Wake up stupid sister! It is currently 11:40 a.m.

Took the day off today because 1) have a day that I can take off, so might as well use it up, and 2) attending a wedding tonight and need to prepare for it! Mmm, not really a wedding, I guess, more like a reception. They already had the wedding ceremony back in the States. But work has made me unable to sleep in. The body's running on its own time schedule, I guess. Meh, it's probably a good thing that I sleep (relatively) early and wake up (relatively) early. Still. Now I get to sit around and wait for my sister to wake up so we can go shopping for Kenting stuff! Ahhhhhh. and eat. Eating is very important too. Sigh.

Weddings, weddings, weddings. This is the second one this year! Well, the first one was my cousin who I think most people in my family had given up on getting married, but she did! To a Japanese guy. It was nice. They seem cute and happy together (as you can see from the picture). Belated congrats (on the blog) to my Cousin Sophia.

Tonight's, though, is of a family friend (who's only like one or two years older! Ahhhh! Am I nearly at that age?!?!). Our dads worked together back in D.C., and they're still pretty good friends. We randomly meet up with their kids (two daughters) every couple of years. It's always like that with these family friends who we meet in other countries. Even though we all go our separate ways after we leave the country, somehow we always end up meeting up again a couple of years later. It's not really keeping in touch, but it's not really losing touch either. And Facebook has made it semi-easier to keep in touch, well, more like keep semi-up-to-date on their lives. Meet ups always occur mostly in Taiwan since we all come back to Taiwan, either for a visit or to live, every so often. It's interesting.

Anyway. Will most likely update about the wedding afterwards. I mean, I've heard that there'll be quite a few politicians there, and most of them I'm not a fan of. Hah! So we shall see.

Inspiration!

Posted by Lisa in ,

Nothing like getting inspiration from other people's works, be it writings, photos, paintings, videos, etc. Well, it's inspiration in the sense that it makes me want to do something ... artistic, but then I think about it and have no idea what to do. So I end up blogging. :) It's nice having a blog, I've decided.

(Whoa! It's 31 degrees Celsius in our tiny little room .... ergggggg. Disgusting.)

I think I've been lax on my drawing because I feel like it all ends up looking the same. I get sick of it. But whenever I try to do something different, it just doesn't look good (to me). Maybe because it's unfamiliar or maybe it is butt ugly. Aih. :(

Now you've gone away
Don't worry it's ok
That you're gone away
Further than yesterday
But you'll never leave these scenes
My mind replays

Love this song - Finger Eleven's Keep Your Memory Vague

Trying to learn it on the guitar (yes, I've finally picked up my guitar again), but now my fingers hurt (not even 1/2 an hour). Aih. Weak!

[edit] I got inspired (by this blog entry, actually)! I thought it'd turn out badly, but I'm ok with it. :) I just realized that it's so not proportioned ... eh, oh well ... [/edit]

Tis Funny ...

I figured since we already had a department lunch last week to "greet the new and send the old" that everyone in my department knows that I'm leaving. But! Today I walk into our little room and overhear one of my colleagues go, "Lisa's leaving?!" He's so out of it, it's kinda funny.

Ah, I think I'll miss these guys. They've made my first real-world job easier to manage by being so nice! :) Wee~~~~~

Blue skies!!!

At Qing Shui Rest stop (清水休息站) ... oh blue skies, how I've missed you.

We went down to Chia-Yi this past weekend, needed to buy some stuff and get the hair done. Hair's half done - got it styled, but didn't have time to get it straightened, so have to go back down next month. Right now, it's just a poofball, as usual, because of the humidity. Bleh.

Speaking of humidity, it was one hot and humid weekend. 30 degrees Celsius doesn't seem so bad, until you add on the ridiculousness of humidity. Literally, after walking for a little bit outside, I come home dripping in sweat. It's quite disgusting.

Also got to play with Cola - my aunt's cat. SO CUTE! Took tons of pictures, but most of them didn't come out because it was dark and I used flash, which his eyes reflected. Looks kind of freaky.

He likes his plastic bags

Also ate a lot of good food - what else is new? Except the one meal that was fantastic I didn't bring the camera, so no pictures from that meal. However, ever heard of 冷肉圓 (cold meat wrapped in gelatinous goodness)? I didn't. Until this time! It was pretty tasty; perfect for a hot, humid summer day. It went well with the thousand year old egg and tofu (皮蛋豆腐) ...

YUM!

Think I gained another kilo or so thanks to the weekend. >.<

On another note, I finally bought me a pair of headphones - Audio-Technica SQ5. It's squarish rather than round cans! :) I actually had never heard of Audio-Technica until recently during my search for headphones. This pair had decent reviews, so I figured why not. Using it right now and I'm quite enjoying the sound quality and the fit. Yay! Finally got my birthday present from my sister~~~

I Forsee

Posted by Lisa in , , ,

I am going to be gaining weight after this week and next week. Why? Well, next week is my last week at work and people are treating me to food. Good food too. Like today, had lunch with my supervisors (man, I don't know the title of my colleagues) and another colleague. Had pasta! with steak! Twas pretty good. And pretty pricey. Nom nom nom ... and then next week I have another colleague who wants to get food. And then I also want to treat them all to afternoon tea. So! That's a lot of food. Mmmm, food. yummy.

Speaking of food! Last night my sister and I wanted to get Chili's so we headed to Neo 19, but on the way there, we passed Shinkong Mitsukoshi and there was a newly opened brewery called Gordon Biersche. The menu looked decent and the price was the same as if we went to Chili's, so we thought why not. Damn! Last night was one of my weakest nights when it came to alcohol. We each ordered a mug(?), and I wasn't even half way through when I started feeling the effects of alcohol. Granted, I drank on an empty stomach, but still! I thought I had higher tolerance than that! Maybe not. >.< Also, their burgers were HUGE! Fatty 10 oz. patties man. I was so full after the burger that I couldn't finish my garlic fries. Woo, I think I'm done with burgers for a while now. Anyway, so they're known for their beer that they brew themselves, and mine was decent. But I'm actually not a big fan of beer, so the mug was a bit too much. Heh, drunk on a Thursday night - oh wait, that's not so weird considering how frat parties were on Thursday nights. But! It is weird because it's a work day. So bad.

Even though the food was good, the atmosphere nubbad, and the service friendly, I doubt we'll be going back there ... for a while at least. My sister's card got scratched (or so we think), so that when she tried to withdraw atm from the bank, the machine couldn't read the card. Why do we think the restaurant did it? Because she paid with the card, and it went through! So that means the card was a-ok when we gave it to them. Some time between swiping and having the transaction go through and coming back into my sister's hands, the card got scratched (the chip part). Poor sister was very mad, and we weren't in the best condition to deal with ... problems. Hah! But somehow we managed.

Another failure for the night - I couldn't find a pair of decent headphones! My expensive sony ones died - one said doesn't work anymore, so I need a new one. Went around Apple stores, electronic stores and couldn't find one that I liked. Maybe I am picky, but the selections weren't that many any way. Also need to do more research. Need to find decent, but inexpensive pair (well, relatively inexpensive. There was a JBL one for 3000 some NT and a Audio-Technica one for 2000 some NT. Looked them up online and the JBL had decent reviews, BUT, way cheaper on Amazon. Made me afraid to pay that much. Bleh.)

SO! Anybody have any suggestions? Would be eternally grateful. I want headphones, not earphones. I want good pair that's foldable with good sound quality and not too expensive. Help!

Oh! Finally did a new drawing :) 5 x 5.5 in cardboard!

FINALLY! After a dry spell, but I feel like it looks the same as everything else. Aih.

S/He Says it Better ...

Editorial in Taipei Times talking about Ma. Wish I could put my thoughts as clearly the author does. Anyway, here's me copying and pasting pretty much the whole article:

It is nothing less than shocking to see how easily Ma would compromise himself and his title — an honor bestowed upon him by 7,658,724 voters — to please Beijing.

According to Ma’s logic, his approach is the best way to avoid “controversy.” But if doing so involves giving up one’s official title in one’s own country, what else can Taiwanese expect from the president when he travels abroad?

Ma seems to take pleasure in lecturing others about the Constitution of the Republic of China, saying that it is more important to respect and practice the words of the Constitution than to amend them.

“As the president of the Republic of China, my most solemn duty is to safeguard the Constitution … My top priority is to affirm the authority of the Constitution and show the value of abiding by it,” Ma said during his inauguration.

If Ma meant what he said, then he had better take a look at Chapter 4, Article 35 of the Constitution, as it states that: “The president shall be the head of the State, and shall represent the Republic of China in foreign relations.”

If Ma continues to compromise his role as head of state, we can expect that the ROC flag will be removed from the Presidential Office when Chen visits.

As farmers struggle to cope with floods in southern Taiwan and as ordinary people face rising commodity prices, Ma has remained silent while his supporters defend his lack of involvement, arguing that he is acting in line with the Constitution and that his responsibilities lie with diplomacy and cross-strait relations.

But Ma’s continued silence over the Diaoyutai (釣魚台) islands incident makes a travesty of that proposition, as the escalating conflict has everything to do with diplomacy and protecting national interests.

A president represents a country’s sovereignty. If Ma cannot understand that and if he cannot act in a manner commensurate with his title, then he is unworthy of the position.

Meeeeeeeeeeeeeeeh.

I Thought I Could Do It

Posted by Lisa in , , , ,

I was trying to lay off ranting about Taiwanese politics here. It lasted about six entries, which I guess is not THAT bad. But after a frustrating dinner listening to the news and how our MR. Ma is debasing himself to the "Mainland," I can't take it anymore. I need to rant. I need to let it out. So here goes. Feel free to skip.

WHY would you agree to allow someone call you Mr. Ma instead of President Ma? Only because he's from China, right? And we don't want to piss of the great Chinese country, right? I mean, I'm sure if any other foreign dignitary decided to grace us with their presence, you'd also agree that they should call you Mr. Ma because that's more equal even though you're the frickin president of a frickin country (and he's not). Oh wait, or is it because you don't think you are the president of a democratic country, hmmm? You're just a regular joe schmoe that the people elected to make this country a better place suck up and kiss ass to the Chinese. Do you think any other president of a democratic country would suggest that he be called MISTER rather than president? Have a little pride in your country, wouldja?

And what have you been doing, MR. Ma? How come we haven't seen or heard much from you since 5/20? I thought you liked to be the center of attention. I thought you liked being in the news with everyone fawning over you. Oh we've heard plenty from your party in general, especially in relation to the ship incident with Japan. Oh but that's ok, the scapegoat's been found (main official to Japan). Despite the fact that he's the one that got us the chance to enter Japan without needing a visa, it doesn't matter, we'll just put all the blame on him anyway. Oh, and what was that intelligent bit by our premier that going to war would be a last option (but hey, an option nevertheless!)? OF COURSE! We totally elected your party to go to war not with China, but with a different country (one which the US is obliged to help in case it does go to war). Mmmmmm, you guys are totally living up to our expectations.

But hey, where've you been Mr. Ma? How come we've barely heard a peep from you besides the little tea you had with the reporters (where you stupidly smartly offered that sound bite of being called mister rather than president), despite the rising prices of everything and the flooding in the south and just general funness in the life of the Taiwanese? Hmm?

Moving on (there's only so much to say in relation to Mr. Ma with all his presence in the media), what is it with those Hong Kong people coming to Taiwan to help protest the way the Japanese treated the Taiwanese fishing boat? I mean, it could've been a good thing until they started stating that the disputed islands belong to China? Wait what? If you believe that they're part of China, why aren't you protesting in CHINA? Oh wait what? Because you'd probably get your asses kicked or thrown in jail? And yet, you have the balls to tell the Taiwanese police officers that they're infringing on your human rights? Man, you guys are so ... I don't even know what the word is.

One last issue. Ugh, I'm so mad I can't even remember what the last issue was. OH! Jackie Chan. WHAT are you doing in Taiwan? Why are you here? You had the gall to say that what happened four years ago on 3/21 (shooting incident) was a joke and that there are all these other countries that you can visit and Taiwan would just be one less country. Great. So you're saying we're insignificant, but now you're here?! WHY ARE YOU HERE?! We're a joke, remember? Go away stupid Jackie Chan.

Tick Tock Tick Tock

Ever have the feeling that you're losing track of the days that pass you by?

Back in school, I knew if today was Monday, Tuesday, etc. because classes schedules kinda required you to remember what day of the week it was and deadlines required you to remember what date it was. But I've found that with work, I've lost track not only of days of the week, but also I can never remember the date, even though I work with dates every day. It just doesn't get inputted into the brain, I guess.

Every day it's the same old thing. Wake up, go to work, do the same old things, get off work, go home, eat, sleep, repeat. One day you suddenly wake up from the cycle and realize half the week's passed by or a month's gone by, and yet you can't remember what exactly happened yesterday or last week because it's all the same.

The only way for me to remember what happened last week or the week before is what I did during the weekend. I went clubbing with Jon, I went to my cousin's wedding, I went clubbing with Watson. But what happened during the week? What differentiates each work day from the other? Nothing. I can totally imagine myself settling into this type of routine one day in the future and suddenly jolt awake one day realizing half my life had passed me by without me even realizing.

That, for me, is a scary thought. And this, is a pointless entry. Just a bit of thought that's been going around my mind for a while starting when I couldn't remember what day it was even though I had just inputted into the computer at work that day. Ahhhhh. Maybe it's a good thing I'm going back to school, but that means I have to really figure out what I wanna do with my life. Otherwise, my scary thought is going to be realized.

Today Started Off Well Enough ...

Posted by Lisa in , , ,

With the cute guy this morning and it being Friday, I thought today would end up being a good day. Ah, expectations sure were dashed to tiny little pieces. Last night did not provide me with a good night's rest due to my stupidity of guzzling down cartons of tea at super spicy hot pot with the colleagues. Basically I couldn't fall asleep, so I was prepared to be tired today. Except! I didn't expect it to be that bad. Even after the nap at lunch I was still way too tired. I was also too tired to eat lunch except for a couple of bites before I passed out on my table.

Then it was time for afternoon work where I could not stop yawning. Hence, I decided to go get a shot of espresso from our fantastic coffee machine. Sarcasm. The coffee tastes like crap, but hey, it's free and it's caffeine. Chugged it down and waited for the effects of the caffeine to kick in. Did not happen. I was still yawning and falling asleep like there was no tomorrow. So I went back and got two more shots of espressos.

Eh. DUMB. Such a bad idea to be drinking so much coffee on a relatively empty stomach. But the brain wasn't functioning so well, so I didn't really think it through. After chugging down those two shots, I definitely felt the effects. Overkill. My pulse was racing, my attention span decreased, the head was semi-spinning. I could barely focus and get stuff done. Thankfully I finished my work early, so for the rest of the 45 minutes before I got off work I tried to keep my mind off my weird bodily functions/feelings by surfing the net. But!!!! I couldn't focus on the articles I was reading. Gah! So this is what ADHD feels like? The inability to focus, sit still, and get through even one article?! It's insane and very frustrating.

I have to say, though, that this is the first time I've overkilled on coffee. But then again, I normally don't take three espresso shots. Definitely learned my lessons - 1) no tea before bed, 2) no drinking three espresso shots in the span of less than an hour, and 3) no coffee on empty stomach!

Got home, crashed for about and hour, and now I'm all headachey and not feeling up to par. The brain's MUSH! mush I say! And I'm still having problems focusing on one thing. Meh, at least I got through this entry. SIGH.

I am currently starving, but it's also 12 am. Sigh. What a lousy Friday. [edit]My sister just informed me that today's Friday the 13th. Didn't even realize ... no wonder it was a shitty day.[/edit]

Image from here ... apparently it's of a bad espresso shot. How appropriate.

Staycation? Sorry, but that's a lame term ....

Posted by Lisa in ,

So uh, the weekly Thursday posts didn't happen. :P Start next week. But while browsing headlines on my RSS reader, CNN had Don't want to travel? Try a staycation ... as opposed to vacation? Ew. I don't like that term. It offends my senses. =P

ANYWAY, saw a cute guy this morning while waiting for breakfast on my way to work. Think he's ABC ... or from some other country because he and his family ordered a ginormous amount of breakfast foods and were taking pictures. By ginormous amount, I mean ginormous. One little bag of egg pancakes (蛋餅) and a cup of soy milk is enough to last me til lunch. But this family (I think) of four ordered like, 燒餅 (kind of pastry?), 油條 (oil sticks?!?), soy milk, egg pancakes (I think), and a couple other dishes. Insane! That's how you can tell when someone doesn't live in Taiwan. Massive stuffing of traditional Taiwanese breakfast. YUM!

That was a nice way to start off my day. If only I could see a cute guy every morning. I think that'd make work that much better. Hah!

Mmmmm ... Random thoughts

Posted by Lisa in , , , , ,

Currently drooling over Jason Statham. Yum! Waiting for War to load so I can watch and drool at the same time. *grins stupidly*

Blogger has notified me that I currently have 105 posts! Wow, I broke 100! Although I'm not sure all of them are published. I get random thoughts and decide to jot them down just in case I feel like making them into an entry. But 9 times out of 10, they just stay as drafts. I think I should do some spring cleaning for my bloggy blog. But I'm actually kinda surprised that I've lasted this long. I was pretty sure I'd blog maybe five times and then neglect the blog. Woo!

So, this blog is all over the place. Got inane entries along with angry political ones, clubbing happenings and general chilling with friends and family. My mind's all over the place! :P Some times I think I should carry a pen and paper around with me because I get ideas at the randomest times and places. Well, mostly in the shower and before bed, which are two places that pen and paper don't really do well in, so those ideas are generally forgotten as soon as I step out of the shower or awake from sleep. Bleh.

I've been toying with the idea to maybe do a once a week entry about the different articles I read during the week - sad ones, happy ones, touching ones, stupid ones, etc - and maybe write some commentary on each one? I do end up reading a lot of different articles, but I always end up forgetting most of them because I don't really use them for anything. Except the political ones. I get to "discuss" (heatedly) with my sister - well, we both end up slamming the blues, but hey, it helps me remember the article. :P

Meh, but then I get lazy and don't feel like doing it. Ha! Guess we'll see. Think I'll start .... NOW. Wait, no, it's bed time. I'll start tomorrow. :P It'll be a weekly Thursday thing. Maybe. We'll see.

Last thought, I WANT AN IPHONE!!!!! Ahhhhh, 3G, GPS, App Store, omgahhhhhh. and CHEAPER (if I get it with a contract)! So many more reasons to go for the iPhone now. WELL, the biggest reason is because they're going to have it in Belgium! Which I'm going to for two years! I mean, it's a sign, right?

Apple's saying, "Lisa, we know you've wanted an iPhone since forever, and since you're coming to Belgium in two months, we're going to have the iPhone waiting for you. JUST FOR YOU. Buy me, NOW." Yes, Belgium is one of the 20 or whatever number of countries who's getting the iPhone on July 11th. Which means when I go on August 14, they should have it!! Unless it's all sold out. hmm, NAH. Apple will have one waiting for me.

Ergh. Delusion much? =.="

Shake those .... hips?

I just discovered these little programs that run on Adobe Air. It apparently doesn't take too much power to use, so you can just leave them on the "desktop" running. Very nice. I have one for Twitter and another one for digg. :) Now I don't have to go to their respective websites to read stuffs or to update. Yay!

Anyway, moving on, this past weekend was another clubbing experience. We were supposed to go to Luxy with a whole mess of people (friends of friends of friends, etc.). The whole mess of people showed up, but the table did not. Apparently they sent the confirmation text to the wrong number, so we ended up not being able to confirm our want, no need, for a table. Which means, yup, they gave our table away. We were table-less! Which kinda sucked because there was like 20(?) of us and getting a table would've been more worth it than paying cover. Anyway, the PR person said there was another smaller table that they could give us, but that ended up being a no-go because there was a leak or something, so they weren't allowing anyone to sit there. RAWR! As my sister said, it's weird. They mess up but they're not really doing anything to make up for it. I said it's because they probably don't care about us as it was all the tables are booked, and there was somewhat a line of people paying cover to get in. Not missing out on much if we don't get in, I guess.

We were going to just go in anyway since we were all there, but then one of the persons in the group knew people in another club, Hips, where we could definitely get a table big enough (sorta) to fit us all. So we took the cab there and saw that it was "The only Latin club in Taipei," which worried a couple of us since we weren't really in the mood to dance to Latin music. But then we found out that it was all you can drink for 400 nt for girls (300 if you show your bellay!). I figured, eh, the other option is to go back to Luxy and pay 600+ to get in, so, we go! And it ended up being pretty fun. Apparently they only play Latin music on Fridays or something, so the music ended up being all the mainstream hip hop and pop songs.

All you can drink is bad, though. Bad when your self control is so ... diminished already. There were lots of drunk people towards the end of the night, drunk to the point they were throwing up ... all over the place. And people were passed out at their tables. The floors were disgusting. Mmyaaaaah. Now that I think ab it, *grossed out* not too sure if I'd want to go back there.

There were lots of SKETCHY guys there. When we first went in, there was a circle of guys standing around the dance floor with no one on the dance floor. I'm not entirely sure what they were looking at as there was no one on the dance floor, but then a couple of girls from our group started dancing and you could just see them watching and ... yah, I dont want to know what they were thinking. There was also a lot of guy on guy action. Hah! There was a pole in the middle of the dance floor and a group of guys were going crazy on there ... including taking off their shirts o__O Oh my! My eyes! :P And then there was a "dancing" competition for girls, of course, where basically they just wanted to see the girls take of some articles of clothing. Blech. That was dumb. I mean, the prize was 2000nt, was it worth it? Thankfully our friend had the brains to not take off any articles of clothing. However, cannot say the same for the other two girls .... |||O

One exchange I found particularly interesting occurred when we were at the bar waiting for our drinks:

Middle Age-ish white guy: 你很帥 幾歲啊? (You're handsome, how old are you?)
Super young looking asian guy: 我十七歲 (I'm 17)

.......... Ahhhh, talk about sketch!!! Dunno what happened after that as we left the bar. But I was like, wow. Just wow.

Anyway, it was an interesting night that started off not so great. But we did end up having fun. Well, I did. Not too sure if my sister did. Meh. The end!

Well, Shit.

If Ma cannot not even dare to criticize the CCP regime for the Tiananmen Square massacre, how can we expect the "Chinese Taipei" leader to stand up for the national security and collective interests and democratic rights of the 23 million people who elected him on March 22?

Open your eyes people. Four years of this guy's governance ... what do you think will come out of it?

[edit]WTF?! This is ridiculous! Why "Mainland" China? Why back to ROC? Why NOT Taiwan?! This is ... like, I'm speechless. I don't understand why they're trying to move backwards instead of forwards. This just seems to show that the government really considers us a part of China, otherwise why would they call China the "Mainland"?

People are referring to us as Taiwan now, no longer are we the Republic of China. In the news, in lyrics, in people's posts, it's all Taiwan now. And now they want to revert it so it's back to Republic of China?! What are they thinking?!
