I Forsee

I am going to be gaining weight after this week and next week. Why? Well, next week is my last week at work and people are treating me to food. Good food too. Like today, had lunch with my supervisors (man, I don't know the title of my colleagues) and another colleague. Had pasta! with steak! Twas pretty good. And pretty pricey. Nom nom nom ... and then next week I have another colleague who wants to get food. And then I also want to treat them all to afternoon tea. So! That's a lot of food. Mmmm, food. yummy.

Speaking of food! Last night my sister and I wanted to get Chili's so we headed to Neo 19, but on the way there, we passed Shinkong Mitsukoshi and there was a newly opened brewery called Gordon Biersche. The menu looked decent and the price was the same as if we went to Chili's, so we thought why not. Damn! Last night was one of my weakest nights when it came to alcohol. We each ordered a mug(?), and I wasn't even half way through when I started feeling the effects of alcohol. Granted, I drank on an empty stomach, but still! I thought I had higher tolerance than that! Maybe not. >.< Also, their burgers were HUGE! Fatty 10 oz. patties man. I was so full after the burger that I couldn't finish my garlic fries. Woo, I think I'm done with burgers for a while now. Anyway, so they're known for their beer that they brew themselves, and mine was decent. But I'm actually not a big fan of beer, so the mug was a bit too much. Heh, drunk on a Thursday night - oh wait, that's not so weird considering how frat parties were on Thursday nights. But! It is weird because it's a work day. So bad.

Even though the food was good, the atmosphere nubbad, and the service friendly, I doubt we'll be going back there ... for a while at least. My sister's card got scratched (or so we think), so that when she tried to withdraw atm from the bank, the machine couldn't read the card. Why do we think the restaurant did it? Because she paid with the card, and it went through! So that means the card was a-ok when we gave it to them. Some time between swiping and having the transaction go through and coming back into my sister's hands, the card got scratched (the chip part). Poor sister was very mad, and we weren't in the best condition to deal with ... problems. Hah! But somehow we managed.

Another failure for the night - I couldn't find a pair of decent headphones! My expensive sony ones died - one said doesn't work anymore, so I need a new one. Went around Apple stores, electronic stores and couldn't find one that I liked. Maybe I am picky, but the selections weren't that many any way. Also need to do more research. Need to find decent, but inexpensive pair (well, relatively inexpensive. There was a JBL one for 3000 some NT and a Audio-Technica one for 2000 some NT. Looked them up online and the JBL had decent reviews, BUT, way cheaper on Amazon. Made me afraid to pay that much. Bleh.)

SO! Anybody have any suggestions? Would be eternally grateful. I want headphones, not earphones. I want good pair that's foldable with good sound quality and not too expensive. Help!

Oh! Finally did a new drawing :) 5 x 5.5 in cardboard!

FINALLY! After a dry spell, but I feel like it looks the same as everything else. Aih.
