Ever have the feeling that you're losing track of the days that pass you by?

Back in school, I knew if today was Monday, Tuesday, etc. because classes schedules kinda required you to remember what day of the week it was and deadlines required you to remember what date it was. But I've found that with work, I've lost track not only of days of the week, but also I can never remember the date, even though I work with dates every day. It just doesn't get inputted into the brain, I guess.

Every day it's the same old thing. Wake up, go to work, do the same old things, get off work, go home, eat, sleep, repeat. One day you suddenly wake up from the cycle and realize half the week's passed by or a month's gone by, and yet you can't remember what exactly happened yesterday or last week because it's all the same.

The only way for me to remember what happened last week or the week before is what I did during the weekend. I went clubbing with Jon, I went to my cousin's wedding, I went clubbing with Watson. But what happened during the week? What differentiates each work day from the other? Nothing. I can totally imagine myself settling into this type of routine one day in the future and suddenly jolt awake one day realizing half my life had passed me by without me even realizing.

That, for me, is a scary thought. And this, is a pointless entry. Just a bit of thought that's been going around my mind for a while starting when I couldn't remember what day it was even though I had just inputted into the computer at work that day. Ahhhhh. Maybe it's a good thing I'm going back to school, but that means I have to really figure out what I wanna do with my life. Otherwise, my scary thought is going to be realized.
